  • Like so many aspects of parenting, the way you approach your child’s sleep is entirely a personal choice, and there are no rights and wrongs! If feeding, rocking, holding, or bringing your child to your bed for sleep and is working for you and your family, and done in a safe way, I’m so glad this is working for you, and there’s no need to make a change. But if what you’re doing has become unsustainable and is no longer working for you or your child, I'm here to support you as a sleep coach and to tell you that yes, it IS possible to find new solutions!

    What Is Sleep Training?

    Sleep training is an umbrella term for a range of age-appropriate, supportive methods designed to help your child develop independent sleep skills. Many approaches are gentle and parent-present, allowing you to stay close and involved at each step. There’s often an assumption that sleep training means ‘cry it out,’ but this is just one option in the broad range of approaches. It doesn’t define sleep training, and a sleep consultant focuses on methods that align with your comfort and needs.
